Position: Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator
Location: Rocklin, CA
Schedule: Part-time (3 days a week Mondays, Tuesdays and Friday)
Hours of Operation: Mondays-Thursdays 8a.m. - 5p.m. and Fridays 7:30a.m. - 3:30p.m.

The Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator will guide our prospective patients through the consultation process. This includes providing the patient (and guardian if applicable) a warm welcome to the office, taking photos, consulting with the Orthodontist on patient’s needs and concerns, presenting the patient with fees and proposals, and seeing that their desired treatment plan is initiated. The Treatment Coordinator is comfortable explaining details such as the benefits of treatment, insurance plans, financial arrangements, the coordination or appointments, and building professional relationships with our patients.
The ideal candidate will LOVE working with people and have the following qualifications:
- 1 year of experience in a dental or orthodontic environment (orthodontic experience is strongly preferred)
- Great customer service skills and a passion for working with kids
- Understanding of clinical procedures and CDT codes
- Proficiency in dental insurance plans preferred
- Experience presenting treatment plans and financial arrangements
- Knowledge and experience with electronic claims submission
- Enthusiastic team skills, an outgoing personality, and a positive attitude
- Organized and detail-oriented

Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing, leaning, bending and reaching
- Lift up to 15 pounds from time to time
- Dexterity of arms, hands, and fingers
- Close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus and read written and digital materials
- Hear people on the phone and in person and clearly enunciate in order to communicate information effectively
Compensation $20-$29/hr DOE and credentials
